|Asana Lab Overview
Asana Lab Overview is a collaborative training module where participants work together to explore yoga poses in detail and can include the use of props, walls and partner work. This workshop explores the idiosyncrasies of each pose and is structured in a way that helps you view asana using the eyes, mind and inner intelligence. This workshop will review the principles of skeletal alignment and muscular engagement in order to help build strength, skill and fluidity in your students’ practices.We will go deeper into the subtle alignments of all types of poses offered in the asana lab series including Standing Postures, Balance Postures, Back Bends, Hip Openers, Twists and Forward Bends.There will be time to go over any specific postures that a participant would like to review.
Asana Lab Overview Prerequisite:
All Asana Labs if in 200 hour program
This module is presented by Jennie Wilson and is offered at Bonda Yoga in Great Neck conveniently located for those living in Nassau County and Queens.
It is also offered at Simplicity Yoga in Kings Park, Suffolk County
The hours for this module can be counted as CEU’s for Yoga Alliance registry or applied toward a 500 hour certification
