|Yoga Philosophy WorkshopKarma/Dharma Four Paths & Subtle Bodies
This Module will cover some aspects of Yoga Philosophy in bite-size pieces – just enough information to digest and not to much to feel over-loaded.
The first part of this module will cover the three types of Karma – Sanchita, our stored karma, Parabdha, our active karma and Kriyamana our newly created karma. You will learn how they interact and influence our actions, behaviors and life choices.
We will speak about how Karma affects our Dharma and how by understanding this dynamic we can not only lighten our load but re-gain clarity giving us the ability to recognize our Dharma (life path) and live the life we are meant to live.
This module will also cover the four paths of yoga – Bhakti Yoga, Karma Yoga, Jnana Yoga and Raja Yoga. Just like there are many ways to get to the same destination, so there are many paths to take us deeper on the road toward enlightenment.
In addition we will take an in-depth look at the Subtle Body Energy System for a better understanding of the connection between our physical bodies, the energy of our emotions, the quality of thought and the role they play in creating balance emotionally and physically in our yoga practice and all aspects of life.
This module is presented by Laurie Ahlemann and is offered at Bonda Yoga conveniently located in Great Neck for those living in Nassau County and Queens.
It is also offered at Simplicity Yoga in Kings Park, Suffolk County
